                           "Las Vegas Nights"
How long before all these are imploded?

                            Photo collage

"Majestic Zion"

The Virgin River exits The Narrows in
Zion National Park. Hard to believe that
such a small stream could have carved
its' way through so much rock.

Acrylic on canvas

"Midnight Freight"

The scene is set for Christmas in Truckee, CA

Watercolor

"Monument Valley #1"

A familiar location for the old western
movies. Maybe Big John's' ghost still
roams the old sets. From more ancient times, the hoodoos of Yei Bechei rise in the background.
Watercolor

"Monument Valley Sunrise"

Sunrise in Monument Valley. The coolness of dawn will soon be gone as the desert heat takes over.
The medium is watercolor

"Mystic Moment #2"

Probably my favorite medium as I can really relax when I am drawing. I like to hide things in these pictures, some obvious, some not so. Hidden in this one are:- a flying dragon, two lizards, a mouse, a whale, a coyote, a male deer, and a leaping fish.            Pen & Ink

"Paint Horse"

A scene used in many movies. The last one I believe was 'The Windtalkers'.          Watercolor

"Redneck Windchimes"

I first saw this theme at a pumpkin farm in Half Moon
Bay, CA, with cans instead of bottles. I thought using bottles would be more of a challenge.
Watercolor plus watercolor pencils

"The Painted Desert"

The winter snow is receding from the Painted Desert. Soon the Navajo will be grazing their flocks of sheep on the new grass before the desert heat turns everything to shades of red, brown and ochre.              Watercolor

"Santa Clara Mission"

While visiting the University at Santa Clara, I was impressed by the serenity of this scene.
