"The Secret Garden"
This painting was produced 'plein
air' at a paint-out that I organised
for the Nevada Watercolor
Society, in the Desert Demonstration
Gardens, Las Vegas.
The chinese writing on the matt reads
'Secret Garden'

"Logger Lugger"
This little workhorse is preserved on a plinth in a shopping mall
in Fort Bragg, CA Watercolor + pastel

"Spring Mountain Ranch" near Redrock Canyon
is an oasis in the Mojave Desert. This was a 'plein
air' painting with the Nevada Watercolor Society
when I was the paint-out chairman.

"South Rim - Grand Canyon"
Many artists have struggled with this subject. I struggled too but I was
finally satisfied with this rendering of the South Rim, looking north-east
from a point about ½ mile east of Mather Point.
Acrylic on canvas with all 4 sides painted

"Spring in Redrock" and the yuccas are showing their
magnificent blooms before everything turns brown in the
desert heat of summer. Acrylic on canvas board

"Sunset over Pebble Beach #1"
I saw this magnificent sunset at Sea Ranch,CA but
I decided that it would look better over Pebble
Beach golf course.

"The Old School"
Once this old building echoed
to the sounds of childrens
voices. Now it is still and
falling into decay.

"American Dipper"
Late afternoon shadows fall on the Virgin River
in Zion National Park as the Watchman Peak
keeps its' eternal vigil. A lone dipper searches
for supper. Watercolor

"Zion Sunset"
Lengthening shadows accentuate the golden leaves
in Zion National Park. Watercolor
